Here's my quickie review on KATU.com of Shorts II at the 35th annual NW Film & Video Festival. One thing I didn't mention in the review was the short Q&A session afterward with most of the evening's filmmakers that turned out to be highly enlightening. Some gave insightful context to their films while others chose to let their films stand alone. Either way, I walked out of the theater with many big thoughts swirling around my brain. I encourage all of you to grow bigger brains and support local film making here in Portland by checking out the festival this week!
