This baby could not be coming at a better time. In the moments when I'm not gazing lovingly at our newborn, I'll be spending most of January in front of the television watching all new seasons of my fave shows...
The L-Word (January 18) Someone's getting whacked, Papi's back, and Alice has a spin-off. Oh, and there are only 8 episodes until the series finale, wherein (I predict) Bette and Tina will be married to the tune of "Better Than Ice Cream." I don't care. I''ll miss the old girls. But mostly Shane.
Flight of the Conchords (January 18) I was afraid that Jemaine and Brett weren't coming back when they said they'd used up all of their songs in the first season. I won't get my hopes up too high since everyone's second album is "eh."Big Love (January 18) This show is heading into some creepy plotlines, but I do enjoy Chloe in her big Morma-do'.
Lost (January 21) Who knows what's going to happen on and off the island. Whatever whacked-out shenanigans go down, you just know they'll be good and there will be tears (mostly from Jack).
Plus, American Idol (January 13) Could this be the season when we finally see Paula run screaming from the building? I'd be happy with some talent, though. And I would be remiss if I didn't mention that there are new seasons of shows I don't watch: The Biggest Loser (Couples!), 24, Friday Night Lights, and Rock of Love.
Chris will be psyched about this: The new season of Battlestar Galactica begins January 16! (Now don't tell me I never give you anything.)And of course... The Inauguration!
