The Waiting is the Hardest Part

Today is the baby's due date, and she's nowhere in sight.

As a consequence, this song has been going through my mind for days.

Of course, seeing Tom Petty circa 1981 makes me wonder anew: How did this skeezy looking dude ever get famous? He looks like one of the guys who hung out in front of Philomath High School blasting the Scorps from his Z28 and sporting a caterpillar moustache and flat feathered hair.

Why then, do I find him so strangely attractive? It's a mystery.
