Winter in Portland

IMG_0004
Here's a photo of the Vanport Wetlands taken last weekend. This wetland, created from rain and storm water runoff, is a haven for birds and I could have sworn I heard a frog in there. The location is a little strange, sandwiched as it is between I-5, P.I.R., and the Expo Center, but hey, it's still the kind of wild open space that makes me love Portland.

Here's me and Mister walking around the dog park nearby. Yes, I am wearing a horrid fleece jacket from my mother, but it's the only thing that fits right now!

p.s If you have time, I've also posted some recent crafty projects here.

See, now I wouldn't have know that jacket was "horrid." I'll be more careful about what pictures of you I post. Maybe.

Um, I think that when I wore it for the first time, your comment was: "It's not really your style."
